Job Summary
A non-profit organization dedicated to ending gun violence is seeking a Remote Gun Safety Students Demand Action Digital Campaigns Associate.
Core Responsibilities Include:
- Building and execute email, SMS, and additional digital strategy for Students Demand Action
- Brainstorming innovative content, creative and advocacy campaigns for Students Demand Action, to advance SDA goals
- Managing SDA’s digital distributed organizing teams, and coordinate alongside the SDA social media campaigner
Qualifications for this position include:
- 2-4+ years of digital advocacy or digital organizing work for political campaigns or non-profit groups
- Exceptional writing, copy-editing and proofreading skills
- Familiarity with HTML for email and landing pages
- A demonstrated ability to synthesize policy and legislative materials into compelling copy that will drive grassroots action
- The ability to work to meet deadlines and manage multiple projects
- A desire to work in a fast-paced, campaign-like environment within a growing, diverse team
