Offering a flexible work-from-home opportunity, the contract Remote Gwich'in Interpreter will provide telephonic interpretation services primarily in medical contexts, while setting their own schedule and managing high call volumes across various industries.

Key responsibilities

• Provide over-the-phone interpretation services for a variety of industries, including medical, insurance, and customer service
• Utilize an online portal or landline telephone to log on and off while managing calls at any time of day
• Ensure compliance with legal requirements to work in the United States, including providing a valid SSN or EIN and photo ID

Required qualifications

• Experience in interpreting is preferred
• Must reside in the United States
• Ability to work as an independent contractor and manage a flexible schedule
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required
• Not currently recruiting interpreters in California, New Jersey, and New York
