Job Summary
A technical services firm is filling a position for a Remote Hadoop Administrator in Tucson.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Working in a multi-tiered environment
- Working with cross-functional technical teams
- Understanding the unique needs and constraints of the various customer sets
Skills and Requirements Include:
- 10% travel
- Management, monitoring and allocation of space in the HDFS files system
- Experience with Ranger, Ambari, Knox, Atlas, Kerberos
- Experience Linux/Unix Scripting
- Understanding system capacity and bottlenecks, basics of memory, CPU, OS, storage, and networks
- Strong verbal and written communications skills
