Job Summary
A financial services provider is seeking a Remote Hadoop Systems Engineer in Salt Lake City.
Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:
- Provide support and thought leadership of small and medium efforts
- Implement and apply standard solutions
- Act as the technical point of contact for data engineer team technologies
Skills and Requirements Include:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in MIS, Computer Science or related field
- 3+ years of experience in Hadoop administration
- Knowledge of systems design, architecting and implementing large business systems
- Demonstrates knowledge of Server, OS, network and storage systems
- Knowledge of security principals, patching and automation
- Strong organizational, analytical and critical thinking skills
