Remote Hardware Detailer

Job Summary

Working remotely in a full-time capacity, the Contract Hardware Remote Detailer will review architectural plans, create detailed hardware installation documents, and coordinate with project teams and vendors to ensure project requirements are met.

Key responsibilities

• Review architectural plans and specifications to prepare detailed hardware installation documents
• Create hardware sets, shop drawings, schedules, and submittals using manufacturer cut sheets and EPWS software
• Assist with change orders, ASIs, RFIs, and technical inquiries to support project execution

Required qualifications

• Technical associate degree or equivalent experience in construction or hardware detailing
• 2-5+ years of experience in contract hardware or commercial construction environments
• Proficiency with EPWS or similar software systems
• Knowledge of Division 08 specifications and DFH products
• Ability to interpret construction documents and manage product data and costs effectively
