Remote HCC Medical Coder

Job Summary

An information technology company is searching for a person to fill their position for a Remote HCC Medical Coder.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

• Verifying and ensuring the accuracy, completeness
• Completing appropriate paperwork/documentation/system entry regarding claim/encounter information
• Reviewing medical record information to identify all appropriate coding based on CMS HCC categories

Qualifications Include:

• 1-3 years of coding experience (CPT, ICD-9/10, HCPCS)
• Minimum of High School Diploma
• Understand, adhere to, and implement the Company's policies and procedures
• Coding Certification (CCS, CCS-P or CPC through AHIMA/AAPC or RHIT ) required
