A staffing agency needs applicants for an opening for a Remote HCC Medical Coder in Tampa.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

  • Identifying, collecting, assessing, monitoring and documenting claims
  • Verifying the accuracy, completeness, specificity and appropriateness of codes
  • Reviewing medical record information to identify all appropriate coding

Qualifications for this position include:

  • 2+ years of working as a certified medical coder
  • Coding certification through AHIMA / AAPC
  • Minimum of GED or High School Diploma
