Job Summary

A technology company has a current position open for a Remote Head of Legal in the Los Angeles Area.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

• Handle many legal matters in-house, while supervising outside counsel on others
• Manage risk while helping advance business objectives
• Provide product counsel, ensure compliance with state, domestic, and international privacy regulations

Must meet the following requirements for consideration:

• JD and membership in good standing in at least one state bar
• 6+ years relevant experience in-house at a startup or technology company
• Drafting and negotiating commercial contracts
• Exceptional judgment and ability to act decisively in situations requiring quick but careful analysis
• Experience with general corporate law, intellectual property law, privacy regulations, employment law
