Job Summary
A healthcare company is in need of a Remote Head of Procurement.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Delivering and applying best practice procurement, contract management and supplier management
- Creating strong internal relationships and enterprise-wide adoption of procurement best practice
- Actively seeking, recommending and reporting on cost saving
Skills and Requirements Include:
- Proven track record of delivering sustainable cost savings, performance efficiencies and risk mitigation
- Experienced in leading and implementing category strategies in a complex, non-mandated environment
- Strong knowledge of procurement best practice tools, processes and systems
- Strong background in IT/software procurement (this is where the majority of controllable expenditure lies)
- Experienced in change management - rolling out system, process and organisational change
