Remote Head of Procurement

Job Summary

A healthcare company is in need of a Remote Head of Procurement.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

• Delivering and applying best practice procurement, contract management and supplier management
• Creating strong internal relationships and enterprise-wide adoption of procurement best practice
• Actively seeking, recommending and reporting on cost saving

Skills and Requirements Include:

• Proven track record of delivering sustainable cost savings, performance efficiencies and risk mitigation
• Experienced in leading and implementing category strategies in a complex, non-mandated environment
• Strong knowledge of procurement best practice tools, processes and systems
• Strong background in IT/software procurement (this is where the majority of controllable expenditure lies)
• Experienced in change management - rolling out system, process and organisational change
