Job Summary
A healthcare company is in need of a Remote Health Actuary.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Applying comprehensive and in-depth knowledge of the healthcare industry
- Performing quantitative analysis to address questions and concerns
- Advising analysts on actuarial methods and standards used in the evaluation of healthcare costs
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics or closely related field
- Proficiency with SQL and/or other statistical analysis software.
- 5 - 7 years experience working with health claims data
- Prior experience consulting or in a customer facing role
- Associate or Fellow of the Society of Actuaries
