Job Summary
A health insurance company has an open position for a Remote Health Claim Coding Analyst II.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Using coding knowledge to drive applicable member benefits
- Applying knowledge of code sets and system expertise to analyze, trend and resolve complex issues
- Providing subject matter expertise and meeting facilitation of various committees/meetings
Qualifications for this position include:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience
- 3+ years beyond degree which may include a combination of claims, coding, and/or systems management
- Healthcare experience
- Coding certification COC, CCA, CPC-P, CPC, CPC-H, CCS, CCS-P, RHIT, RHIA
- Familiarity with NCD/LCD
- Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills
