Job Summary
An independent medical oncology and hematology practice is searching for a person to fill their position for a Remote Health Claims Resolution Specialist.
Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:
- Resolve any incoming inquiries or payment denials from insurance providers for payment
- Contact insurance carriers to collect on open account balances.
Must meet the following requirements for consideration:
- Knowledge of medical terminology, ICD-9, and CPT codes
- At least one year of prior medical billing or medical collections experience
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills required
- Must have an in-depth understanding of explanation of benefits
- Have excellent knowledge of insurance carrier billing and reimbursement
