Remote Health Claims Resolution Specialist

Job Summary

An independent medical oncology and hematology practice is searching for a person to fill their position for a Remote Health Claims Resolution Specialist.

Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:

• Resolve any incoming inquiries or payment denials from insurance providers for payment
• Contact insurance carriers to collect on open account balances.

Must meet the following requirements for consideration:

• Knowledge of medical terminology, ICD-9, and CPT codes
• At least one year of prior medical billing or medical collections experience
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills required
• Must have an in-depth understanding of explanation of benefits
• Have excellent knowledge of insurance carrier billing and reimbursement
