Remote Health Coach

Job Summary

A healthcare company is searching for a person to fill their position for a Remote Health Coach.

Must be able to:

• Provide health coaching to primarily college students through our Health Coaching service
• Develop patient-specific care plans
• Document each encounter in the Electronic Health Record

Qualifications Include:

• Certified by the National Board for Health and Wellness Coaching or the National Commission for Health Education Credentialing, Inc
• Health Coach trained in behavioral change theory, motivational strategies, communication techniques, health education and promotion theories
• Ability to establish rapport, build trust, maintain boundaries and engage with the patient using a friendly and supportive approach
• Ability to respond with a high level of empathy
• Ability to adapt to the changing needs of patients
