Remote Health Equity Researcher or Senior Researcher

Job Summary

A research firm is in need of a Remote Health Equity Researcher or Senior Researcher.

Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:

• Work with senior staff to develop and deliver on health equity research content
• Provide expertise to and deepen capabilities of teams conducting work to advance health equity
• Serve as advisor and subject matter expert for collaborative research teams

Skills and Requirements Include:

• Ph.D. (or master's degree plus equivalent work experience)
• Ability to prioritize activities and manage multiple deliverables and deadlines
• Expertise in health equity and social determinants of health frameworks
• Comprehensive understanding of culturally responsive equitable research principles
• Knowledge of and experience with community-engaged research methods and participatory approaches
• Strong foundation in quantitative and/or qualitative research methods and a broad understanding of health care systems and health policy issues
