Job Summary
An IT services provider has a current position open for a Remote Health Informatics Specialist in Tampa.
Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:
- Develop and implement system-wide Informatics standards
- Act as a liaison, role model, educator, and champion for end-users
- Support the development and management of new data governance
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- Certification (e.g., RHIT, RHIA, CHDA, CHPS) or Bachelor’s in a related field
- 2-5 years experience as a health informatics specialist or clinical informaticist
- Demonstrates proficiency in a general-purpose programming language for data analysis
- Advanced proficiency with SQL and database management
- Proficiency with the data schema of at least one major EHR vendor
