Job Summary
A non-profit healthcare system is in need of a Remote Health Information Management Coding Outpatient Supervisor.
Core Responsibilities Include:
- Overseeing work performed by the HIM Coders, Coding Coordinators, Data Integrity Specialists and the Clinical Documentation Nurses
- Resolving coding issues
- Assisting in presenting information on issues such as case mix, DRG analysis, physician and nursing education
Must meet the following requirements for consideration:
- High School or Equivalent
- 3 years experience in a management role in a related field or
- 3 years experience in a supervisory role in a related field
- Knowledge of medical terminology use and understanding
- Delegation skills
- Analytical Skills
