Job Summary
An online university is seeking a Remote Health Information Management Faculty Member.
Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:
- Provide practical hands-on instruction in an engaging learning environment
- Incorporate innovative teaching methodologies in order to enhance the learning experience of our students
- Share specific industry experience
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- Associate of Applied Science in Health Information Management and Bachelor or Masters in related field required
- Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA) or Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT) certification required
- Industry experience preferred; 2 years teaching or presentation experience a plus
- Strong academic and professional record
- Strong active-learning skills for effective instruction
- All other requirements necessary for this position
