Job Summary
A non-profit, faith-based healthcare organization and clinical care network is in need of a Remote Health Information Management Inpatient Coding Specialist.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Accurately coding Inpatient records for the classification of all diseases, injuries, procedures, and operations using the ICD10CM/PCS coding system
- Ensuring compliance of coding rules and regulations according to Regulatory Agencies (CMS, OIG)
- Working as a team to meet departmental goals and AR goals. Abstracts prescribed data elements from the medical records
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- High School,Cert,GED,Trn,Exper Additional Qualifications
- Coding Certificate
- Knowledge and thorough understanding of encoder system, Inpatient Prospective Payment System (IPPS)
