Job Summary
A not-for-profit healthcare provider has an open position for a Remote Health Information Manager Denial Prevention Specialist in Atlanta.
Must be able to:
- Assist with the denial management for monitoring, releaseinformation (ROI) documentation requirements
- Gather documentation requests from payors for billed services
- Report trends monthly from payors in regards to documentation requirements
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- Diploma/GED
- 1 year of experience with billing and/or hospital denials
- Computer skills to include Word and Excel
- Ability to read and comprehend simple, healthcare terminology
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to use data to identify trends, execute process improvement, and report key performance indicators
