Remote Health Outcomes Clinical Strategy Lead
Job Summary
The Clinical Strategy Lead is responsible for improving healthcare value through strategic initiatives and analytics in the healthcare industry.
Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:
- Provide data-driven strategic direction to identify and address business issues and opportunities in healthcare waste and low value care
- Evaluate complex business problems and issues using advanced analytic techniques and clinical acumen to identify actionable clinical opportunities
- Lead cross-functional teams to define opportunities that are both impactful and achievable
- Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to translate strategic recommendations to implementation-ready plans
- Forecast the financial impact of initiatives and produce high-quality presentations and reports to be shared with senior leadership
Qualifications Include:
- Advanced degree (masters or doctorate) in business (MBA), public health, epidemiology, healthcare, clinical informatics or related field Clinical degree (MD, DO, PharmD, APRN, PA, NP, BSN, RN)
- 6 or more years of payer and/or consulting experience in the healthcare industry
- 3+ years of experience in strategic business role with a payer or consulting role or similar, 3+ years of experience in guiding analytics/studies and analyzing data to generate insights
- Demonstrated ability to define and lead large cross-organizational initiatives, to anticipate and be proactive around next steps within large initiatives simultaneously, to lead through ambiguity and function independently
- Ability to assimilate, analyze, draw conclusions, and make recommendations from complex data, high learning acuity and ability to navigate rapidly changing situations and business priorities
