Job Summary
A non-profit health care system has an open position for a Remote Health Plan Credentialing Specialist.
Must be able to:
- Perform the appropriate (applicable) credentialing processes in a timely and complete manner
- Perform analysis and appropriate follow-up
- Perform relevant data entry into the database to ensure consistency and integrity of the data
Must meet the following requirements for consideration:
- Must possess a strong knowledge of business and/or healthcare
- Must possess a strong knowledge and understanding of healthcare planning
- Three years of credentialing and/or process management and operations experience
- Basic knowledge of medical terminology, medical staff organization and extensive knowledge of credentialing procedures
- Must have excellent communication skills
- Must have experience in interacting with physicians and allied health professionals
