Job Summary

A non-profit health care system has an open position for a Remote Health Plan Pharmacist in Phoenix.

Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:

  • Provide management of pharmacy services
  • Be a leader in defining, implementing, and managing clinical programs
  • Maintain proficiency in all legal, regulatory, and practice standards

Must meet the following requirements for consideration:

  • Degree in Pharmacy (advanced degree preferred) from an accredited College of Pharmacy
  • Completion of an accredited PGY1 pharmacy residency program or 3 years of clinical pharmacy experience
  • A proficiency level in managed care/health plan or pharmacy benefits experience
  • Current and unrestricted pharmacy licensure in the applicable state of practice within 90 days of hire date
  • Proficiency with PC based productivity tools
