Job Summary
A postsecondary online academic university is searching for a person to fill their position for a Virtual Health Science Professor.
Must be able to:
- Teach an equivalent of 180 students (120 doctoral) per academic year (October 1 through September 30)
- Respond to and resolve student academic questions, complaints and concerns in a timely manner
- Contribute to assessment activities and reports required to meet WASC standards III
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- Ability to travel: attendance at Professional Meetings, Workshops and Seminars
- PhD in Health Sciences, Public Health, or Health Education
- Ability to demonstrate academic rigor and fairness in grading
- Terminal degree in a relevant discipline from a regionally accredited institution
- Successful graduate-level teaching experience in a blended or fully online environment
- Experience in working with doctoral students through the entire research process, including defense
