Job Summary

A health services company is filling a position for a Remote Healthcare Actuarial Consultant.

Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:

  • Perform annual small group and individual base rate reviews to ensure rate adequacy
  • Present findings directly to health plan leadership and functional partners
  • Respond to NY DFS objections and justify recommended pricing actions

Qualifications for this position include:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 4+ years of Healthcare Actuarial experience
  • Advanced or higher proficiency in MS Excel
  • ASA or FSA or in the process of obtaining designation
  • Proven analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
