Job Summary
A health insurance company is searching for a person to fill their position for a Remote Healthcare Analyst.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Analyzing the financial performance of all company products, identify favorable and unfavorable trends
- Creating financial models to evaluate the impact of provider reimbursement changes
- Supporting department projects related to medical cost reduction initiatives
Qualifications for this position include:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution
- Advanced knowledge of SQL or SAS (Base SAS or SAS Enterprise Guide)
- Experience with large data sets in a data warehouse environment
- Advanced understanding of Excel, including VLOOKUP, as well as pivot tables
- Ability to communicate effectively and work well in a team-oriented environment
- Experience with analyzing medical cost and utilization trends
