Job Summary

A cloud communications company needs applicants for an opening for a Remote Healthcare and Financial Services Commercial Counsel.

Core Responsibilities Include:

• Taking ownership of the drafting, review, negotiation, and management of a wide range of legal agreements
• Seeking to understand the context of the positions of the company’s customers and the requests from the company’s internal clients
• Assisting with the development of policies and procedures, and standard template language to be used in contracts

Qualifications Include:

• J.D. with strong academic credentials and demonstrated record of success as a lawyer and Member of local State Bar
• 5+ years of commercial transactions experience with at least 2 years of negotiating complex technology transactions (e.g., XAAS)
• Experience supporting a large sales organization selling to Healthcare customers
• Strong understanding of contractual provisions required under HIPAA, HITECH, and other relevant regulatory frameworks
• Ability to structure, draft and negotiate a high volume and broad range of commercial contracts
• Proven ability to provide entrepreneurial, quick-thinking, pragmatic, business-oriented advice and recommendations
