Job Summary
An information technology staffing firm is in need of a Remote Healthcare Biller and Collector II.
Core Responsibilities Include:
- Maintaining a detailed electronic tracking system of all billed accounts
- Conducting various mathematical calculations
- Attending meetings within Patient Financial Services
Position Requirements Include:
- High School or equivalent
- 5-10 years collections experience or payer contracts including prior experience in health care
- Experience working with facility/technical claims (UB-04) required
- Strong knowledge of 3rd party/government billing/collection and reimbursement requirements
- Working knowledge and understanding of laws governing collection practices
- Working knowledge of insurance and medical terminology
