Job Summary

A healthcare receivables company has a current position open for a Remote Healthcare Billing Specialist.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

  • Efficiently reviewing/resolving claim edits
  • Identifying and correcting billing errors and resubmit claims to insurance payers
  • Posting adjustments to patient accounts

Qualifications for this position include:

  • Three years medical billing experience
  • EPIC billing experience required
  • UB-04 billing experience
  • Working knowledge of UB04/HCFA completion guidelines and ICD 10 CM and CPT code sets
  • Experience with Meditech, Cerner, DDE
  • Experience pursuing/billing government payers (Medicare specifically)
