Job Summary

A healthcare organization is searching for a person to fill their position for a Remote Healthcare Collections Specialist in Tucson.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

  • Performing follow-up on outstanding insurance balances within required time frame
  • Documenting all actions taken on appropriate systems so that is clearly communicated process for resolution
  • Making appropriate number of calls based on assigned payer

Required Skills:

  • High School graduate or equivalent
  • Must have six (6) months experience in a hospital or medical facility setting
  • OR have taken a minimum of one college or certificate program course that would provide basic understanding of billing and coding
