Job Summary

A healthcare insurance company is searching for a person to fill their position for a Remote Healthcare Contract Negotiator in Chicago.

Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:

• Negotiate, re-negotiate and execute competitive contracts with providers
• Maintain and enhance provider networks while meeting and exceeding accessibility, quality and financial goals
• Manage provider compensation and pricing development activities

Position Requirements Include:

• Percent of Travel Required 10 - 25%
• The highest level of education desired for candidates in this position is a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• 3-5 years related experience, proven and proficient negotiating skills
• Proven working knowledge of competitor strategies, complex contracting options, value based contracting, financial/contracting arrangements and regulatory requirements
• Functional - Network Management/Contract negotiation/1-3 Years
