Job Summary

A substance abuse and addiction treatment company is seeking a Remote Healthcare Financial Counselor.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

  • Answering patients billing questions
  • Working patient accounts to assure accurate balances
  • Collecting and posting patient payments

Position Requirements Include:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 2 years experience with medical billing
  • 1 year medical billing or insurance verification or financial counseling
  • Excellent proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Internet
  • Knowledge of chemical dependency and its effects on individuals, families and communities
