Job Summary
A healthcare revenue cycle management company is filling a position for a Remote Healthcare Follow Up Associate II.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Working with HIM and PAS across the enterprise in resolving adverse benefit determinations
- Working closely with third party payers to resolve unpaid claims in proving medical necessity of the patient's admission
- Investigating and examiningsource of denials utilizing knowledge of charge master, AS4, ICD-9 coding, CPT coding and EDI billing
Position Requirements Include:
- High School diploma
- Demonstrated extensive knowledge in the health insurance industry
- minimum of two years experience in a specified area
- Demonstrated excellent analytical, fact-finding, problems solving and organizational skills
- Demonstrated ability to work successfully in a team setting
