Job Summary
A healthcare service and treatment provider has an open position for a Remote Healthcare Industry Billing Specialist I in Phoenix.
Must be able to:
- Preparing and reviewing claims for submission, including resolving upfront claims edits and errors.
- Submit and track claims files to all payer types
- Resolve payer and clearing house related issues such as rejections
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must have a valid Arizona Fingerprint Clearance card
- 1+ years medical or behavioral billing experience
- 1+ years experience with medical terminology and using an electronic medical record and billing system
- Demonstrated knowledge of HCPC’s, CPT, and diagnosis coding
- Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft suite, especially excel functions and tools
