Job Summary
A health insurance company is in need of a Remote Healthcare Industry Senior Data Scientist.
Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:
- Perform claims data analysis to identify anomalies in the current claims payment systems
- Design, develop, interpret and socialize findings of advanced data science models
- Participate in developing/selecting new data sources
Qualifications for this position include:
- Our Department of Defense contract requires U.S. Citizenship
- Successfully receive interim approval for government security clearance
- Bachelor’s in statistics, engineering, mathematics, computer science, physics, operations research or relevant
- 3 - 4 years of data science, statistical and/or analytical experience
- Experience with Python, R and Business Intelligence tools like Tableau or Power BI
- Experience analyzing large claims datasets and applying data-cleaning techniques
