Job Summary
A healthcare business and operations provider is searching for a person to fill their position for a Remote Healthcare Insurance Follow Up Representative in Saint Louis.
Core Responsibilities Include:
- Placing outbound calls to insurance companies, guarantors, patients, doctors’ offices and/or facilities
- Processing related correspondence from insurance companies and perform pertinent follow-up
- Reconciling balances and payments between insurance companies and clients computer systems
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- Minimum 1-2 years’ experience in Medical Billing/Follow-up for a facility, medical clinic, or doctor’s office
- Experience with Microsoft Office suite and standard office equipment
- Understanding of co-pay, co-insurance, primary and secondary payer in regards to medical insurance coverage
- Ability to read and understand EOB statements
- Knowledge of medical and insurance terminology
- Must be able to reconcile balances and payments between insurance companies and clients computer systems
