Job Summary

A healthcare company needs applicants for an opening for a Remote Healthcare Medical Billing Specialist.

Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:

• Create and utilize workplans to effectively prioritize and manage multiple concurrent tasks with a high sense of urgency
• Update billing software with rate changes
• Update cash spreadsheets, and running collection reports

Qualifications Include:

• Medical billing and medical coding experience
• Knowledge of hospital revenue cycle or hospital/physician/lab billing office or UB-04 billing experience
• Experience with timely and successful appeals to insurance companies
• Knowledge of medical terminology and billing/collection practices
• Able to read and interpret insurance explanation of benefits
