Job Summary
A non-profit health care organization needs applicants for an opening for a Remote Healthcare Medical Records Specialist.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Being responsible for acquiring medical records and treatment information from area hospitals / providers
- Monitoring and maintaining all communication for enterprise HIM department including phones, faxes and emails
- Monitoring outstanding hospital discharge information
Must meet the following requirements for consideration:
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Good organizational skills and detail oriented
- Advanced experience with computers, i.e. data entry, Microsoft programs
- Proficient in medical terminology
- Comfortable collaborating with all customers
- Ability to perform under pressure
