Job Summary
A healthcare provider is filling a position for a Remote Healthcare Provider Relations Advocate in Macon.
Must be able to:
- Contribute to design and implementation of programs to build/nurture positive relationships between health plan and providers
- Identify gaps in network composition and services to assist network contracting and development teams
- Support development and management of provider networks
Qualifications for this position include:
- Ability to travel within local market up to 20%
- Undergraduate degree or equivalent work experience
- 4+ years of health care / managed care experience
- 2+ years of external provider engagement and / or provider relations experience
- 1+ years of experience with Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial regulations
- All other requirements necessary for this position
