Remote Healthcare Quality Analyst

Job Summary

Working remotely on a full-time temporary basis, the Remote Healthcare Quality Analyst will perform quality reviews of medical records, validate coding accuracy, and ensure compliance with HIPAA requirements while meeting productivity expectations.

Key responsibilities

• Perform quality reviews of medical records using established criteria to ensure accuracy
• Validate coding rejections against medical documentation and identify charts requiring second-level review
• Utilize Windows-based applications and Microsoft Office to complete daily work while adhering to quality assurance best practices

Required qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; Associate's Degree preferred
• 1+ years of quality assurance experience, particularly in healthcare operations
• Experience reviewing various types of medical records in a production environment
• Intermediate proficiency with Windows PC applications and Microsoft Office products (2+ years)
• Ability to learn new and complex computer system applications
