Job Summary
A healthcare company has an open position for a Remote Healthcare Reimbursement Specialist IV.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Maintaining expertise in claims processing
- Educating internal and external customers on process
- Investigating all denied or partially paid services
Qualifications for this position include:
- Bachelor’s degree is required; 4 years of practical experience in lieu of education is acceptable
- 8 years’ experience in Medicare, reimbursement, medical policy or payor appeal requirements
- Experience working with billing and medical claims personnel in various health care settings
- Possess the ability to review health insurance forms
- Knowledge of medical devices and medical terminology
- Thorough knowledge and understanding of medical device reimbursement environment
