Remote Hedge Fund Accountant II

Job Summary

A financial services company needs applicants for an opening for a Remote Hedge Fund Accountant II.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

• Processing shareholder activity within allocation tables and reconcile to the TA platform
• Preparing and reconciling cash and positions on a daily basis back to custodian, prime broker or third party
• Preparing monthly GAV work paper package and performing all month-end reconciliations

Required Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance or the equivalent combination of education, training, or work experience
• Typically, at least 2 years' experience in middle office operations or fund accounting with hedge funds/hedge fund administration
• Highly proficient with Microsoft Office, advanced Excel skills
• Working knowledge of securities and fixed income assets
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to multi-task
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
