Job Summary
A a banking and financial services organization is seeking a Remote HELOC Mortgage Underwriter in Chelmsford.
Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:
- Analyze information to determine risk involved in lending money
- Provide direction and guidance to processing staff for documentation
- Review appraisal and automated valuation models to ensure value of collateral
Skills and Requirements Include:
- 3 years mortgage loan experience with a minimum of 1 years underwriting experience
- Knowledge of reviewing residential appraisals and automated valuation models
- Understanding of mortgage loan processing functions, including home equity lending
- n-depth knowledge of mortgage related requirements, procedures, underwriting criteria
- PC Skills, including loan software, Outlook and Microsoft Office
- Thorough knowledge of FNMA underwriting guidelines
