Job Summary
An online education company needs applicants for an opening for a Remote High School English Teacher.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Taking ownership for students’ academic progress and attendance
- Preparing students for high stakes standardized tests
- Organizing social and educational activities for students and families
Must meet the following requirements for consideration:
- Ability to travel as required
- Bachelor's degree
- Six (6) months of student teaching experience
- Meet requirements for Highly Qualified Teacher (HQT) in subject area under No Child Left Behind (NCLB)
- Ability to problem solve independently and have a high level of organization
- Ability to embrace change and adapt to ensure excellent student outcomes
