Job Summary

An online charter school has a current position open for a Remote High School General Science or Biology Teacher.

Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:

• Design, deliver, monitor and collaborate in developing pedagogy, academic goals and instructional strategies for students
• Develop language acquisition support plans for ELL students
• Create and maintain a virtual classroom

Required Skills:

• Ability to travel for assessments, learning development, graduation ceremonies, home visits, performance assessments, and other as required
• Valid Pennsylvania Teacher Certification
• Ability to work a flexible schedule during certain seasons; as necessary and in accordance with the CBA
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Proficient in use of Microsoft Office applications
