Job Summary
A charter organization is filling a position for a Remote High School Math Algebra Tutor.
Core Responsibilities Include:
- Analyzing students’ needs based on data available, address specific needs, and monitor progress
- Ensuring effective strategies/manipulatives are utilized to foster student growth
- Leaving accurate, detailed notes in the system to outline students’ status
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Education or related field with a minimum of 3+ years of experience with STAAR/EOC success
- Teaching experience (Texas Certified)
- Technology Literate (especially Microsoft Office and Google Docs)
- Excellent verbal/written communication skills
- Demonstrate strong ethics, tack, and empathy
- Ability to tutor students and quickly build rapport
