Job Summary
An educational company is filling a position for a Remote High School Math Teacher.
Must be able to:
- Submit grades and required student work ensuring student academic honesty and integrity
- Collaborate with local/regional/ national teams and instructional coaches
- Take ownership for student's academic progress and attendance
Skills and Requirements Include:
- Ability to travel as required, on average once per month and/or approximately 10% of the time
- 6 months of student teaching experience
- Bachelor's degree
- Meet requirements for Highly Qualified Teacher in subject area under NCLB based on state specific requirements
- Ability to embrace change/ adapt to ensure excellent student outcomes
- Pedagogical knowledge of content being taught and ability to apply critical thinking
