Remote High School Math Teacher

Job Summary

An online education company has an open position for a Remote High School Math Teacher.

Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:

• Deliver specific course content in an online environment
• Provide instruction, support, and guidance, and manage the learning process
• Monitor student progress

Qualifications Include:

• Ability to travel as required (on average once per month and/or approximately 10% of the time)
• Six (6) months of student teaching experience
• Meet requirements for Highly Qualified Teacher in subject area under No Child Left Behind
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word; PowerPoint
• Pedagogical knowledge of content being taught and ability to apply critical thinking
• Knowledge of state content standards
