Job Summary
An online education company is filling a position for a Remote High School Math Teacher.
Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:
- Take ownership for students’ academic progress and attendance, communicating high expectations
- Prepare students for high stakes standardized tests
- Conduct live synchronous teaching – minimum of 15 hours per week
Must meet the following requirements for consideration:
- Ability to travel as required
- Bachelor's degree
- Six (6) months of student teaching experience
- Meet requirements for Highly Qualified Teacher (HQT) in subject area under No Child Left Behind (NCLB)
- Ability to embrace change and adapt to ensure excellent student outcomes
- Pedagogical knowledge of content being taught and ability to apply critical thinking
