Job Summary

An online education company has a current position open for a Remote High School Music Teacher.

Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:

  • Preparing students for high stakes standardized tests
  • Conducting live synchronous teaching
  • Taking ownership for students’ academic progress and attendance

Must meet the following requirements for consideration:

  • Ability to travel for face to face professional development, student testing, etc
  • Bachelor's degree and 6 months of student teaching experience
  • Meet requirements for Highly Qualified Teacher (HQT) under NCLB
  • Appropriate state certification
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word; PowerPoint
  • Understanding of interdependency of deadlines on multiple projects
