Job Summary
An educational company has a current position open for a Remote High School Special Education Teacher in Exton.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Responding to students, parents and colleagues in timely manner
- Maintaining grade book
- Taking ownership for student's academic progress
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- Ability to travel as required (on average once per month and/or approximately 10% of the time)
- 6 months of student teaching experience
- Bachelor's degree
- Pedagogical knowledge of content being taught and ability to apply critical thinking
- Ability to problem solve independently and have a high level of organization
- Meet requirements for Highly Qualified Teacher (HQT) in subject area under No Child Left Behind (NCLB)
